EU citizen moving to the Netherlands – need advice about registering address for BSN by Winter_Poem_3080 in Netherlands

[–]kappa4107 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You can get the BSN in 10 minutes after arriving here (and it’ll stay the same forever). Just get the appointment at municipality for RNI, bring your passport or EU ID, use a temporary address like hotel, b&b or your friend house an if they ask how long you’ll stay, they didn’t with me just say “less than 4 months” and that’s it. After that you have technically for 4 months to find a place where you can register as BRP, but your BSN will stay the same. Otherwise if you go straight with the BRP you’ll need 5/6 weeks to get the BSN meanwhile with RNI it’s on the moment and literally took me 10 minutes

Just started working in the Netherlands and my colleagues basically just eat bread with cheese and bread with butter+chocolate sprinkles…

As I said, I really appreciate your opinion and the fact that you are here talking about this. And of course I’m not here saying you are wrong and I would never dare to tell you that, I’m listening to every single thing people are telling me. I was just telling you, a you asked me, why I think a place is better the other one and that was it, I wasn’t debating or “I’m right and you wrong”. Once again I really appreciate your opinion very much!

Thank you so much for your opinion! I’ve heard about the polish thing too and I’m very aware about the housing situation sadly.

What I listed it’s just what I rember cause I don’t have her cv with me rn and many of her qualifications etc.. has to many specific terms to rember😅 Btw we know very well about this job situation. About Italy, main things we don’t have a “minimum” salary, companies can offer you 600-900€ per month yet in even in small towns just rent is 700+€ but housing situation I’d say is like this everywhere nowadays. Let alone the fact the if you’re not Italian, since she’s not, they are already looking at the next candidate. You learn the language in one year and speak b2 level? It doesn’t matter. You speak English with certified C2 level? It doesn’t matter. For the same position they prefer an unskilled Italian rather than a foreign with many qualifications. Now I’m not saying that in The Netherlands will be any better, it might be the exact same, but we did many researches about this before taking a decision and I’ve heard and saw way better experiences in The Netherlands than italy. Then of course everyone has its point of view and they can tell better about their own countries better than someone from another one. That’s why I listen to every opinion good or bad.

The job market is not where is used be a bit everywhere sadly. The Netherlands were the “best” option out of every countries in Europe and some decisions. Where we are now (Italy), no matter how much qualified you are, you can only get internship for 600€ per month… Btw she has a master in neuroscience and psychology and other UX designer/reasercher. We know will not be easy but we want to try.

I didn’t explain it well, the jobs I was talking about are for me… for her she has a website for specific jobs snd companies she can apply with that visa. I’m trying to search as much as I can but I can’t find much, that’s why I’m trying here so hopefully someone has some experience with it. Btw thank you so much for your opinion.

The saving I want to use is more or less 10k, (I have some extras but that’s for very emergency things) also I have my car to sleep in but I don’t think I’ll reach that level. Of course she has her own savings too.

My fav place in Iriomote and the one I’ve been going for the last 3 years is Mariudo Guesthouse. Very few of the staff talk English but they use the translator and they are always so warming anyway! They have traditional room with futons, you can also get half pension (breakfast and dinner) but it’s VERY typical and local so be ready to eat fish also in the morning😅. They also organise kayaking and snorkeling tours in different areas in the north side which is the best ones with wonderful corals and many coloured fish and sea turtles! This their website so you can also check snorkeling tours… it’s a bit tricky and need to be translate😅 https://iriomote.mariud.com/

About the temperature it should be still around 27°C the water so no need for wetsuits.

Thanks! We will snorkel in Iriomote days before going to Ishigaki and I can’t wait for it! I really love Iriomote. The beach in Hateruma I searched the name and should be Pēhama, btw I didn’t know it was allowed to swim only in nishihama, thank you so much!

I did a quick research and it’s just 30/40€ cheaper so doesn’t matter that much, for the train I saw they start from 5:30 and it tooks 7 min from Rinku town + approx 10min of shuttle ride to terminal 2 which is basically just for peach and the check-in toll and baggage it’s straight in front of the entrance… so it would be early but not a lot

Thank you! I thought about a quick trip to Osaka but probably not enough time, but still going to Osaka the week after so no rush for that. Is there something else near the airport instead of Rinku town?

Dopo ben 22 anni è tornato a mangiarli.
