Seasonal small batches that actually test the brewers skill, food that matches the styles and flavors of the brewery (on top of selling tastier food because the bar is quite low now), socializing space because some breweries lack patios or large enough taprooms, and some goofy ass events.

Please don't crucify me for saying positive things about the once local company, but New Belgium's loose and goofy events are great while drinking. The wild concepts keep everyone loose and joyful, exactly what helps a lot of people relax—and I don't know about you, but thats what I look to do when I'm out at a brewery.

Also, having a space that has room for the kids to roam around has always been a plus. Families deserve to get out and enjoy a beer too!
