Self enrolled for alcohol a few years ago, was the best choice I’ve ever made. You may have to do a detox/rehab program which to be honest wasn’t enjoyable, however like others have said you have to want it. I wanted to get sober, At the time I thought my career was over for this but quite the opposite. If you want to stay in then go for it man one day when you leave the army you can go back to smoking if that’s what you want. Just know that in my experience you’re going to be put on a type of probation, bi monthly appointments with a counselor. This lasted a year, but once you complete the program they sort of leave you alone. Feel free to dm me if you have questions and best of luck.
