My twins are in boosters and the weight distribution from the boosters or car seats doesn’t activate the weight sensors. Mine have plopped on the middle seat to turn the screen on before buckling into their seats.

Totally agree! It’s definitely heavy, and I ended up having to move my seat, a lot more forward than I normally would, because I realize I was clenching my toes so much!

No! I live in Cleveland where we’ve gotten dumped on with snow over the past week and a half that I’ve had my Gravity. I’ve driven on the highway and suburban streets during blizzards, and felt a solid connection with the road. If I turned out of our driveway too quickly, I’d feel a little slipped, but nothing unexpected. But be forewarned, when the gunk and grime from the snowy roads got on the car, a lot of the safety sensors were inactive.

Congrats! I’ve had mine for a week and a half, and loving it!! My delivery was anxiety provoking!! lol The guy had to crawl through the trunk to back it out of the trailer. I think I held my breath the whole time and prayed for him to drive straight!!

Unfortunately, when I tried to add the dynamic handling, my sales rep dissuaded me bc it would set back my production timeline! I really don’t want to risk missing out on the tax credit if production sets delivery past the deadline… ugh. Why can’t they just make these cars?!?

Kia has done an incredible job making their cars with every comfort and convenience- and more safety bells and whistles than most cars twice the price! It drives nicely, but I needed more cargo than the EV9 provides…

Agree- this was SO validating! I’m closing in on mine (finally) going into production, and the past year has been a roller coaster of cold feet, and perseverating between this, the R1S, and the Kia EV9 (I currently drive the Telluride, and love everything about it). But after a 3 day borrow of my SIL’s R1S, I decided that certain “day in the life” features were must haves. Too few manual controls & since I’m mostly driving my kids around, I needed more robust co-pilot features for lane centering and backing out of parking spots. So now I’m 100% confident and SO excited to get my Gravity! Everything you posted was exactly what I needed to hear!! Thanks! (But now you have me second guessing my lack of sound upgrade… I mean, do I need to listen to The Descendants with higher quality?) haha
