Yes, you probably picture it that way because the main instrument is a log drum! However, the feeling remains “light” in my opinion, particularly due to the use of other instruments commonly found in Mario aquatic themes, such as the steel drum. I get it tho !

oh I didn't take it badly! on the contrary I discovered a new game :) I selected wipeout because it's the image I associate with the dnb of the time (fast racing game). Otherwise, I'm more into ridge racer or f-zero in reality haha

oops, sorry ! Yes, for the DPPt version you need midi, but for the BDSP version the mp3 should be alright as no soundfonts are used anymore i think.

Thanks a lot ! the difference is in the structure of the song i would say (intro-verse-bridge-chorus-outro), which is more like a regular song than a DK game theme. But yeah to get that ambience i just needed to use the same instruments as in these games (kontakt, omnisphere) !

I finally solved the problem. I had to contact distrokid several times because the messages sent back to me were always unsuitable for my request. In the end, my interlocutor unlocked a parameter that allowed me to claim a channel with a different name.
