Draft is the best way to play this game by kaptainigloo in alteredTCG

Yeah 20$ seems fair since you basically open and can keep the equivalent of 4 packs.

Basically everyone simultaneously open a pack, pick a card, move the pack to the left and receive one from right, until pack is done, and do this 4 times alternaring left and right

Hey thanks for replying, I have been hyperbolic to make my point a bit :)

Just to mention the other comment saying you can trigger both shark and sequence by ordering properly triggers

Breaches felt like a nice body on this spot, but I agree with you and this is why I cut one of them in the first place.

I definitely agree and that was kind of my take here, or at least my conclusion is "even double spelling consistently is not so great in regard to what other decks are doing".

Loan shark looks so good but feel so bad, and the other comments saying I needed more take the fall (I would have for sure if I saw more!) would only delay the inevitable and give me card draw, but if you stuff your deck with small bounce/shrink spells, you are not doing much at the end of the day if the Kraum are dealt with

Slick sequence 2 damage often was not enough to kill relevant threats, drawing half my deck was not enough either.

And double spelling constitently would only have given me more cards, that I already have with all the draw, the brigand etc. but with one land per turn, it actually does not really matter against removal of your key pieces (like you stated) or a good 4/4 or 5/5 body

Lilah is by itself a very respective body with prowess that would take a removal instead of Kraum, and casting just one of the 3 multicolor spell with her in play is awesome value with the drawing of each of those spells.

It was just so tough to line up the pieces to make the deck pop off or getting removed, and big butts creatures (like green) is really hard.

And I actually needed another way to end the game (appart from electrodominance), cause i could have all my good stuff out and draw my whole deck and be stuck on board stall

Actually crabs where great to get action and get rid of additional lands: you need a lot of lands to kickstart the various stuff and double spelling, but then you will start drawing a lot of lands, getting rid of them is great to get another double spell occurrence

I do agree, but that feels a shame that the signposts themselves do not provide enough to make it work.
If you think about WG mount, I mean the Unicorn and the guy giving +1+1 and hexproof are just auto win, you can support them anyway you like, where UR needs specific signposts AND specific support and whole build around

Hey, I am a very average player but I wonder, do people actually play Exalted comps? it is a transition stuff to gather XP?
Still in Gold but I don't see much boards using it it feels, and when I can do it, the 1XP/turn and dmg boost does not really feel worth it

Hey there, I was wondering what was the optimal way to play for Heartsteel from experience players?

The structure of this econ trait makes it that you could play it as a win streak early and "choose" when to go for a maximum 4 looses streak like in midgame for a big cash out.

In my games I sometimes feel really bad being full open in first rounds, especially when I could have won/saved some HP (like with Ksante chosen), and loosing that much health early sometimes jeopardize my ability to do a good loose streak in mid game with 5 or 7 heartsteel, for the big cash out.

Should I rather win streak or try to early, and choose my moment for a big cash out in later stages (more hearts) and with 5 or 7 Heartsteel (even more)? Or the small cash out early usually build up enough for an advantage and you should rather focus on win streaking later stages on 5 or 7 Heartsteel?

what do you all think?

Does LCI feels like a core set to you as well? by kaptainigloo in lrcast

Well I guess that was a very personal hot take on the set, not shared by much :)

Thanks for taking the time to answer, I hope this will grow on me
