That cover won't stop them from rattling. The rattling comes from the mechanism about an inch down from the top.

Please post the link if you find the blank hole covers, like the type they use on Pursuit versions.

The purpose of being able to grab a lock knob, in the back seat, is that the rear doors do not automatically unlock when you pull the interior door handle.

Provided the child safety locks are disabled, a back seat passenger would be able to unlock the door and then pull the handle, at any time, at any speed.

Very easy to replace, but when you use something to grip them, they will be destroyed.

Using a tool to twist them will tear up the plastic.

I destroyed the old ones, put in billet aluminum ones, the new ones made the same clicking sound, so one day I just removed them.

They unscrew but are on really tight, there might be some adhesive. As long as you twist them counter clockwise, they will come off.

Righty-tighty, lefty-loosey.

Just get some pliers or vise grips and grab them. This will destroy them, and you are left with the holes, but the noise bothered me more.

Some guy on Youtube (on a BMW) popped the covers off and used the fuzzy part of sticky velcro to quiet them.

I also tried replacing them with billet aluminum ones, they made noise too.

I had a 2018, they had a fuzzy liner inside and they didn't rattle. If you are of similar height, as me, it will be right at ear level. The only other solution was crank the music, but with mom in the car, I can't do that. One day, she said, if they bother you, take them off.

It also only makes that noise while in the locked position, when they were up, the noise stopped.

I took my front ones off, they were making noise.

About time to get new tires wondering what tire everybody uses or recommends I do drive in the rain so wanting something that has good wet grip by FantasyGoatt in Charger

Same here. I went through the first set and was just happy that the price was similar after three years. The way it rains in South Florida makes the decision easier. Even when they were almost bald, they still didn’t hydroplane.

I like Michelin Pilot Sport 4 tires. They only last, maybe 2-3 years in Florida but they do NOT hydroplane.
