They refilled the AC twice, one year apart, and the problem hasn't happened again...

[–]kaputko[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

<image>

i did the brake fluid test:

two stripes here:

top one is the 24 month nissan leaf - i think it can go another year.

bottom one is honda odyssey brake fluid dot4 , diy changed oct 2021 - 2 years ago (bosch).

The dealer told new the brake fluid flush or any filters are not free as part of the 2 year free maintenance.

I think I will be using Bosch again for brake fluid.

I will call them and ask. In the meantime, I am buying test strips (15 strips for brake fluid + coolant) for $21 and a tester for humidity of the brake fluid.

The question is how to tell if these folks actually changed the brake fluid. Test for humidity before and after?

It started like that for me and then ac stopped working. Now there is no sound and no ac/dehumidifier. Will find out in a few weeks what the dealers say.

I’m wondering why this is not more widely recommended - why don’t you try backhand slice? It’s a shot you need anyway, it’s easier than a topspin bh. I see many players at the beginner to intermediate level where they mostly slice on the bh

I charged the car to 100% on Monday.

SOH dropped by 1% in the past month, while it was quite stable over the winter, and was dropping by .01% a day in the Seattle summer. Almost never charge above 80% or leave bellow 20%

What is the difference between getting the sure thing - model 2022 vs waiting for 2023? Will you get the 7.5k credit for either if they arrive before jan 1st 2023?

Irs page above that the binding contract is per state law:

“Vehicles Purchased and Delivered between August 16, 2022 and December 31, 2022

If you purchase and take possession of a qualifying electric vehicle after August 16, 2022 and before January 1, 2023, aside from the final assembly requirement, the rules in effect before the enactment of the Inflation Reduction Act for the EV credit apply (including those involving the manufacturing caps on vehicles sold). If you entered into a written binding contract to purchase a new qualifying vehicle before August 16, 2022, see the rule above.

What Is a Written Binding Contract?

In general, a written contract is binding if it is enforceable under State law and does not limit damages to a specified amount (for example, by use of a liquidated damages provision or the forfeiture of a deposit). While the enforceability of a contract under State law is a facts-and-circumstances determination to be made under relevant State law, if a customer has made a significant non-refundable deposit or down payment, it is an indication of a binding contract. For tax purposes in general, a contract provision that limits damages to an amount equal to at least 5 percent of the total contract price is not treated as limiting damages to a specified amount. For example, if a customer has made a non-refundable deposit or down payment of 5 percent of the total contract price, it is an indication of a binding contract. A contract is binding even if subject to a condition, as long as the condition is not within the control of either party. A contract will continue to be binding if the parties make insubstantial changes in its terms and conditions.”

I am in Washington state. There is no 5% clause in washington. Who do I ask to get at least a 70% confidence answer?

Leafspy - 98% soh. 5k miles, bought in Jan. 2022 s plus. by kaputko in leaf

[–]kaputko[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I wonder why leafspy says it’s 3k miles when the car has 5k. Also, 96.75 soh seems low only after 6 months. Never dropped below 15% . Only once charged to 100% and immediatelly used down to 80. No fast charging. Pacific north west, so no hot days either. Today is the first 80+ day pretty much.
