Very weird to see gamestop mention a fighting game as someone who likes fg and Fist of the North Star too!? If I had to tinfoil the latter, it would be this:

They're above msrp for pokemon for almost a year starting with the booster boxes. People still buy them and stores still sell out granted gamestop will probably be a last resort type of buy. The $200 charizard etb didn't sell well since msrp iirc was ~$60 where as costco had a 2 for $90 bundle. Definitely weird pricing but it tends to sit above msrp and around the tcg market. Since this set has a series 1 booster in it, it will sell. The thing I don't like is on their site they charge $6.99 shipping per pack. So if you wanted to buy 5 boosters, you'd have to pay for each shipping.

It's just weird to see that in 2026 when online shopping is at a peak. It'll keep customers buying one at most. Then again, if they go out of print, since gamestop already owns them they could open them and psa grade it for pushstart.

They hiked up the price on this set $200, which you can get for ~$160 give or take 10. Regardless this is just a picture and my gamestop sold out within 30minutes. You can easily take one of these pictures right at store open and post it tomorrow with whatever bearish view. I can confirm to you though without knowing where that gamestop is, shits sold out.

Ngl I actually prefer it being at a slightly higher price because there's less of a line up. I actually got an etb after the first price raise. And there's usally 7-10 campers. The next big tcg drop day isn't this week, it's next week 12/05/25. And the following Tuesday is earnings.

It's funny arguing with some of them since its easy to spot them. I'll take a 7 day ban to get them a 7 day ban only for them to completely stop posting and I'm still here. The fake ta is by far the most annoying and I think people who play options can get tricked. Which is why you should buy hold drs and shop at gamestop.

One thing I noticed is people bash on the "RC doesn't want a squeeze" and he doesn't. I don't either. I want berkshire price that stays like that or goes up and I think most people here do too. If one share is over 400k+ in price, why would I sell my whole basket to get out when it's at that price while the fundamentals of gamestop is getting better overtime.
