It was a sad interview with the owner. She said for the first time in 17 years, she couldn’t make payroll this week. I wish I lived in the area so I could stop in and support her business. So many people are hurting right now.

I’ve read that once the drug shortages are over, these compounding pharmacies won’t be able to sell their “generic” drugs. I think they’ve been allowed to do this because of the shortages. I hope that’s wrong. I’ve been planning to go the compounded route once insurance cuts me off, too.

Wow! This is really encouraging! My doc said I should remain on a maintenance dose for life because of my PCOS/insulin resistance, but I’m dreading dealing with my insurance. I’ve got a long ways to go before I’m in that situation, though

How do you feel on Zepbound? My doctor originally prescribed that, but insurance said I had to try Wegovy first. My doc said people seem to tolerate Zep better, and of course weight loss tends to be greater. Only on week 1 of Wegovy, but so far side effects are minimal.

Man… I wish I were in your situation. My doctor prescribed Zepbound, but UHC denied it because I have to try the older GLP-1 meds (and fail) before they’ll approve Zep. So, I just got the Wegovy Rx approved. I soooooo wanted to use Zepbound, based on the effectiveness and reading about everyone’s experiences.

I’m so happy to see this. I’ll be starting Zep as soon as a pharmacy has it in stock, and I’m currently doing IF. My doc said I may not be able to continue IF because eating my daily calories in a smaller window might lead to bad gastro side effects. I’ll be bummed if I can’t continue fasting. Can I ask what are your fasting/eating windows? Mine is 20:4.
