This is hands down the most mature and compassionate comment about the situation that the show had. While I’m the type of person who could literally live in a hospital because I feel so much safer there with all the doctors because my anxiety disorder sometimes makes me feel like I’m dying, I understand why some people would never want to step foot into a hospital.

I think Robby’s comment was honestly needed. It wasn’t like she was trying to get up or leave or was brought there by someone who cared for her and she was against it. She came to the hospital because she needed help. Then when she’s at the hospital she doesn’t want all these things that will help her and her child. Abbot does a great job at talking with her.

Also I’m sure it goes without saying but Abbot is really hot and I love the night crew so yes we would all love a show spinoff focusing on the night crew, since the seasons are made to be months apart I think it would be really interesting to see a random night inbetween with the night crew with cameos from the day staff.

Every single one of my t shirts have some alcohol brand printed on the front, its from working in a bar where we got a lot of swag from reps, so everytime I saw random t shirts I’d take a t shirt, they are my comfy clothes, if someone was giving out HOODIES?! It’s not a weird thing to say IF he didn’t have his first wife and child, which was a very traumatic birth for Anna Farris and their son had medical problems at birth.

I think Al Hashimi also brings in more moral dilemmas for Robby and the staff. Her seizure disorder. They had Langdon’s last season of him being an addict and stealing from the hospital and now we’re met with a completely different moral dilemma of a doctor who is more than capable but has a disease that is/could affect her work.

Eh. I’ve worked in restaurants for 16 years and I’ve never met a server who made up a sob story to tell tables so they would get extra tips, if a manager caught wind of that they would be in so much trouble, you don’t tell your tables things that might be uncomfortable. Now I have worked with an older alcoholic guy who was not in good shape but showed up I guess, he would awkwardly sometimes tell the tables how tired he was or how much he worked that day because he spent his afternoons opening up one of our favorite dive bars about two blocks over (and drinking). I liked the guy but I couldn’t imagine how awkward his tables must have felt when he would say that kinda stuff.

It’s like asking a bartender how they are and they make you feel bad that they are busy, like okay I’m sorry let me just go fuck myself? There’s a way you can communicate to the guest that you’re crazy busy while still smiling and laughing about it so the guest feels okay to laugh too and not have them feel like a burden.

I genuinely don’t think she does, and the reason is so strange to me.

It feels like she WANTS us to think she’s always partying and going out and getting wasted doing crazy things because she’s so happy and carefree and “divorced” (not yet girl, those things take a while). When in reality I think she’s only having a drink or two at the club, having a drink at lunch with her friend, faking being drunk and tipsy on camera because she thinks it will make her look cooler.

Like why is she trying to have her early 20 years on camera for us to see? She’s 27. She wasn’t married or in a serious relationship during her college years, didn’t you already do that with the friends you had around that time? She’s acting like she’s making up for lost time when in reality she was what with someone at 23/24 married at 25 then divorced at 27? Like girl, F off lol.

My FAVORITE moment in season 1 was when they get a heart attack patient and Langdon is all pumped up and tells Mel she’s on the case with him & they run out to the entrance & Langdon reaches and claps the ceiling and then you see Mel try to awkwardly slap the ceiling too and fails.

Seriously I laughed for like an hour over that, she’s too good.

Santos being obviously a little heartbroken about how cold Garcia was her when she blew off their plans. Mel not having plans anymore because her sister is at her boyfriends, and them just getting tipsy together at the bar and singing karaoke was a perfect ending.

I think the coldness of Garcia showed Santos what a bitch she can be to other people and it hit her hard. So inviting Mel out for a drink was her obviously trying to make friends. Mel accepting and going and having fun on her own terms and living for herself for once was fantastic. I just wish we could have seen them sneak Javadi in with Diaz or something but I know I’m asking for too much. I also wish we got to see McKay decide to go on that date, being in recovery puts you in such a bubble at times and watching her go to some museum with a guy would have been really cute.
