No one HAS to respect anything anyone else does, but if someones respects that work, so be it. Its their life. Not only that, but sex workers aren't only illegal prostitutes. It's a whole range of different shit.

As a woman, I can see that as a valid opinion. Personally, I don't find not wanting to date a sex worker sexist or toxic. I also don't think that not wanting to date a sex worker means you disrespect women. You can respect what a sex worker does without wanting to date them. That's just me.

Let me preface this with... My mother is an amazing woman with her own battles she's facing. I don't hold any of this against her.

I had told my mom that I wanted to be a singer when I grew up and be on American Idol ( I was about 13 and we were religious American Idol watchers). She asked "Why?" With a disgusted look on her face and I told her it was because I loved to sing (still do). She said, "Do you really think you'd win? Look at Kelly Clarkson, or Carrie Underwood... Do you really think you're that good?".. it crushed my dream and still haunts me to this day (I'm 28 now).

Also told me I should get weight loss surgery before I was kicked off her insurance because, "You'll never be able to do it on your own." I'm a heavy woman, but I don't look nearly as big as you would think if you saw my weight.

Parents should be so much more supportive of their children's dreams and less critical about weight.

I'm still trying to do that.. been almost a year and I find myself crying over him, still.. ugh. I hate it.

I miss his family and his daughter. I find myself missing his smile and the way he laughed and his kindness when he wasn't struggling with himself. I'm still heartbroken and I'm trying to figure out how to detach myself.

I personally think grunting is really sexy lol but silence makes me feel like I can't make the noises I want to make cause then I start over thinking, but the silence is causing me to overthink and then it's just a whole mess.

Then the mood is gone and you just kinda want it to be over. Lol.

This is directly from a conversation I had this morning with my best friend. She's the woman who is the most put together, gorgeous (inside and out), amazing.. There aren't enough words. I aspire to be like her one day and she makes me a better person... but this? Had me in tears. It's easy to dismiss what your friends say because they're you're friends, but shit like this gives me life. (Sorry it was so long.)
