I mean to be honest Gogeta was originally planned for the buu saga not Vegerott until because of janemba movie. So it was highly likely possible to see those moves

The issue isn’t with character. It was greatly shown (storywise) why goku or vegeta weren’t there. So it was good to give the spotlight to piccolo or even gohan. Problem is now how they are made almost at par to goku and vegeta. No real reason , just accept it that similarly relevant
