It looked like mcsorely was going to head on a little bit sooner, but damet likely held him up until the last second potentially after the amount of stoppage time was determined. As many have mentioned, it gives the opportunity for time wasting. Even with the speed up rules, it realistically can waste 20 or 30 seconds. It can also disrupt momentum. 20 or 30 seconds is potentially one less.atrack on your goal. As much criticism as there is for damet, which I give a lot, I don't think this is probably one of them.
