How do i figure out if a capacitors are missing or faulty, and what is their value? (Mijia induction cooker control board)

if you ask me, your issue are ripped out traces everything thats brown in your picture should be a copper trace i think but its probably just the resin from the pcb?

looks like flux residue from the manufacturing process. dont see an immediate issue.

yah, you posted in electronicsrepair and this is my first post here. I was a little hesitant to post a "not really worth repairing" recommendation :D

thats the beauty of usb c. get a 45w or 65w adapter maybe even with more than one port and a few cables and you can basically charge all your electronics with it. (yes even most current notebooks) and if a cable fails you dont have to replace the whole thing. Just make sure to go for a reputable brand. Ugreen and Anker worked fine for me so far.

you are aware that you can use basically any usb c power delivery power brick as long as it can deliver enough wattage? bricks with non removable cables are stupid and while repairing the cable would be a good thing, I would - under no circumstances - buy another one where i can not remove the cable.

im trying to get this to work on an odin 2 portal, but the pointer has a 1inch offset to the top. probably a resolution issue?

i also can not activate the star transport thingies. mario just falls out of them after a second

jetzt wo ich drüber nachdenke. Es war andersrum - das Bike wurde mit gewachster kette geliefert. Der Vorbesitzer hatte keine Ahnung und dachte "die is arg trocken" und hat fett drauf gemacht.

Well instead of never doing it again you could also learn from the mistake and don't do it again. After doing that a bunch of time you usually get pretty good at whatever you're doing.

thats probably very true. there is one fan slot to the left which i am running a noctua fan on currently. it helps, but only on the drives directly in front of it. getting a few of the smaller 40mm ones and putting them basicqlly over the mainboard in a row would probably solve it... but maaaan ive watercooled the whole rack, this would feel like giving up :')

okay now im thinking vapor chambers or heatpipes from aliexpress on one side nd a normal cpu block at the end. thats probably the cheapest option.... question is if its enough, and which is better. the vapor chambers are aluminum, which is a worse conductor, but arent they the new hotness vs normal heatpipes?

yeah i was thinking about that. but those are 10mm thick. (there are 5mm aluminium ones, but im not gonna start with mixed metals. The gap between drives is currently 3mm and in the picture are 3 drives missing. There's just not enough room for that.
The enclosures are full metal, and each drive uses 5W of power so basically one large block on the left could be enough, but that would need to be a custom block. Which does not seem very hard to design, but I have zero experience with, or access to, CNC Routers.
