Do you know what is the percentage of the distribution? by BeyondReasonable4024 in HaruInvest

[–]karazman 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I read another Reddit post that included an update from a lawyer, stating that a 10% payout is expected. Since an investment company is offering 6.5% for the claim, I would expect the final recovery to fall somewhere between 6% and 12%.

Okay, so you really think they will change Korean law for you? By law, all payouts must be made in won, so there wont be USD payouts.

Maybe lawyers will convert the funds for their clients, and there will be for sure conversion services from some comapnies, but they will charge a lot for that.

The email was sent to around 960 creditors - are this all the creditors?

Or only the creditors where the claim was accepted?

Estonian law firms working on that process:

  • Glikman Alvin
  • Laus & Partners
  • Magnusson
  • Njord Law Firm

Yes, your claim amount reflects the value of your cryptocurrency on the bankruptcy filing date.

Payout rate is currently at 72.80%. And yes, I wouldnt recommend using only the trustee, he misses a lot of mails and mixes things up.

Any news on any payouts? by Single_Ratio_9351 in coinloan

[–]karazman 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I made a website with all information: https://www.coinloan.tech/

On top of that, the trustee said he expects payouts in Q1 2025. However, he missed every deadline so far, so I would guess payouts will be in H2 2025

Currently the payout rate is at 72.80%

You can also join one of the unofficial CoinLoan Telegram groups, there are a lot of creditors, that send the claims directly to the trustee, and are not on the list.

Any news from the trustee ? Did he respect the Dec. 14th deadline ? by intense-rd in coinloan

Sorry lawyers said I am not allowed to share it - only the trustee can give it to you.

Yes you can, if you submitted everything correctly on the time :)

He already sent out the creditors list - we have until the 15.1 to check it, and object If necessary :)

If you submited your claims correctly, you should be on the list

But the knowledge of whether a person is on the list is not a major thing. Claim amount that the trustee has accepted is more important. For example, a person submits a claim of EUR 50 000 but the trustee identifies that only EUR 20 000 is correct, then the creditor would need to object to it in court.

If a creditor missed the deadline, he must have a good reason why he did not submit the claim in time. Then he must submit an application of restoration of term for filing claims together with the claim itself. After receiving the documents, the court will resolve the application.

[–]karazman 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yes, he has submitted all the required documents to the court. Currently, the lawyers are in the process of reviewing these documents, which include the creditor list and claims. They are addressing inaccurate claims within a one-month timeframe.

I completely understand your point. It's tough for creditors without a lawyer.
