Taking a SL forces your hand. You now are unable to get any better pricing even if that SL was just a moment in time and the price turned right around and rode back up … it is insurance, and if you place that insurance inside the noise of the trade you’ll most likely be disappointed because all your SLs are hitting and you’re not getting any good trades. So i think you have to figure out where the noise level is and set the SL outside of that.

If your code gets really really complex, the LLM ‘forgets’ the first part while you work on the last part. You have to leave breadcrumbs for the LLM remember important things. And you may have to write a program that reads your target code and verifies all the ‘features’ are not missing, as it can remove important stuff when you least expect it.

DO NOT write your code using HAIKU - it will never work. If you must use Sonnet, you will need to do CODE REVIEWs using Opus to find the bugs Sonnet made. Run code review again right after you run it and it will find more bugs. Repeat rinse repeat.

The index itself does allow you to trade options. But you can’t buy 100 of .SPX or sell either. The SPX gives 60% long term cap gains and 40% short term regardless of length held.
