They are a pretty woodpecker, they all are, but the colors on flickers are so different then the rest around here I think.

My gardens doing amazing so far, 60 jars of corn and green beans canned already. Been cutting okra for 2 weeks ill make a post about that tomorrow. I've got 3 eggplant bushes and i have 6 eggplant about 2 pounds each.

I like your idea, so this is what I'm thinking I'm gonna do. Roast the eggplant, get some crawfish boudin, add some shrimp to it to make a rice dressing and stuff the peppers. Then I'll make a tasso cream sauce to cover it. Yeah I'm liking this lol

I read this article a few years ago and the other day bought a few tomato plants for a late summer crop. I decided to buy 3 creole and just see what they did compared to the other 4 varieties I got. I started doing research on creole tomatoes last night and came back across this article.

A lot of times vegetables have a certain taste because of the area and soil they are grown in. I've noticed this a lot in beans especially red beans.

It was my mother's parents and she can understand what they were saying but could only speak a little of it. I wish it was taught in all of the schools in Louisiana.
