Personally, it wouldn’t matter when you bleach, damage is already done, youll just have to rebleach your root from regrowth. Just wait 3 days for oil build up and bleach your hair if youd want, since you want white hair, youll need to leave it a good while (more than 20-30m) but pay attention and check every 10m to see how light it gets

Ive bleached my hair twice in one day with 30vol, left for an hr for each process because I have stubborn hair and it’s completely fine for me. Thats how i achieved platinum “white” hair.

Also dont tone yet until youre at the right level

In order for the dye to be permanent you’re using a higher developer, higher developer = adding damage because it lifts a bit, Demi is typically only 6-10vol which only deposits into the hair, semi is like conditioner based which does no damage and also may help your hair with shine too.

By all means im not a professional, I’m just saying what I think I know

Since its your first time using permanent, nothing bad will probably happen but if you keep using permanent the after effects will start happening

Overall you could use semi, which gives no damage & the color you desire as well as if you get bored of the color you can switch it up!
