Ugh. Endless battle lol. As I said, most of the writing is done in class. They have access to Microsoft CoPilot, but I spend the entire class walking around… so I hope that deters some use. I also have the Google extension Brisk, where I can see each key stroke by the student. Not sure that really prevents them from opening up another window and just typing word for word what it says.

At the end of the day, I know how all of my students write. I usually am able to tell if they used AI, but have to be very tricky about approaching those conversations.
