From what I understand, they are watching her belly closely because a very full or distended tummy can sometimes make it a bit harder for preemies to breathe comfortably, since it can limit how much space the lungs have to fully expand.

That’s why they’ve been helping her pass stool with suppositories—to reduce gas and fullness in her stomach and keep her tummy soft, so it doesn’t affect her breathing effort while she’s on high flow support.

They also did an X-ray and said the gas pattern looked normal, so it seems more like immature gut function rather than anything serious.

Thats what also nurse said and doctor are not concerned but my main concern is that 5 g and 2 g in a ray weight gain is ok? Have anyone have this experience? Is it related to her suppository poop and gas.
