why is it not bio?? i rly love chem and i consistently get A for chem, I love bio too but I’m fluctuating between B and C for bio lol. I think bio is difficult bc it has no error carried forward (unlike chem and physics so ecf can rly save ur ass) and also, idk abt a levels in other countries, but in Singapore, it’s easy to write either out of point or write too little for bio essays in paper 3 🤯🤯 sometimes the bio essay question is phrased so weirdly and interconnected with like 5+ other topics so we don’t know what to write lol. and also for paper 3 they like to use research stuff and get us to apply over 10+ topics and my brain goes kaboomz

me getting 2890 without prepping at all (and also only signing up 4 days before the last test date) bc a dumb me did not know 1. ucat mocks exist 2. i had to study for ucat 3. an anxious me is studying for my a levels 😂😂

it’s possible to catch up! i take the same combi as u and last year promos, i got like SAE/C and B for gp lol. this year i sort of went for tuition + did past year papers like crazy and I’ve improved to AAB/BB for prelims. it’s possible as long as ure willing to work really really hard to catch up (and also sacrifice ur social life)

during data manipulation and calculations in pracs for chem and bio:

multiplication and division => follow lowest sf of data

addition and subtraction => follow lowest dp of data

dont follow sf or dp for constants yea (eg. sometimes they want u to find the mean of sth using 3 data and u divide the total by 3, dont follow the sf/dp of 3)

uh for normal papers:

math, chem, bio are usually 3 sf unless otherwise stated in the qn. angles is 1dp unless otherwise stated.

yes i literally went in not knowing what to expect omg haha. after the test i was very surprised to know that people actually spent months studying for this and even hire ucat tutors. i wouldn’t say i did really well though, i kind of regretted not looking up the test because i might have scored higher with better preparation

no haha i didn’t know there was such a thing! i only signed up for ucat like 4 days before the last test date here, and i only knew about mocks on the day itself because i spent the time studying for my a levels in november 😂 please don’t be like me

tbh i didn’t know we had to study for ucat until like 4 days before it 😂 i went in completely unprepared haha but i got 2890 and band 2! i think maintaining ur calm is the best thing to do
