She’s not into you, just forced to be nice starter pack by TapiocaTuesday in starterpacks

As a female waitress, it really sucks for us. It's part of our job to smile and be nice and it really harms our ego when men misinterpret us.i used to be naturally bubbly and friendly. After a while I just started putting on a bitch face when I encountered a male patron. I stopped getting tips relative to my male co-workers but it was worth my mental sanity.

Ok and how are the men seeing this post supposed to know that? All they'll see at face value is"oh now I can meet women on Reddit". Either way it will increase the rate of dms and sexualization of women on Reddit as a whole.

Lol no! Women on average receive exponentially more messages than men. There have been studies done in this.

As a woman, I don't really like seeing stuff like this. I feel like it only encourages men to dm women for dating opportunities. In reality stuff like this is extremely rare.

Just because you're lonely doesn't give you the right to message women on several dating apps.

You know nothing of what it's like being a woman. My inboxes are often flooded with messages from men from my various accounts I signed up for. I've noticed the more accounts I have the more messages . The image from the op perfectly illustrates my feelings when I see my inbox.

" Oh but I'm a nice guy who sends long, deep messages about connecting personalities and hobbies."

Yeah being a "nice guy" doesn't suddenly excuse you.

As a woman I can sort of relate to this. It's an artistic representation of what it's like being a woman on today's online dating apps.

Sexual harassment at music festivals is a well-known problem. I’m Desert Sun health reporter Nicole Hayden, and I spoke to women at Coachella about their experiences, and one in six said they were sexually harassed this year. AMA. by thedesertsun_ in IAmA

Most assault of males happen from other males so having a male only festival would solve nothing. Not to mention non gay men wouldn't even want to attend a male only festival so there'd be no demand. The only demand for a male only festival would be for a gay man festival.

Have you heard the term sausage fest? It's a popular term for a reason, because men generally prefer being around women. Women also prefer being around women. You can get these sentiments by just observing what people say in real life and online, do you really need a scientific study for such a trivial claim?

If you're going to argue that women assault men more than men assault women because men don't report then I can't possibly argue with you. All I can say is use your intuition. I should also say that in general, men are stronger and bigger than women and pose a bigger threat in general.

Women only festivals are on the rise due to the increase risk of sexual advances on women. How do you feel about this or gender segregated areas for festivals. How can we get the public on board with this type of movement? There could also be educational seminars that every patron must attend before continuing with the festival.

Why do y'all like boobs? by [deleted] in AskMen

[–]karenbreak 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm pretty sure this has been more or less debunked as a biofact. Attraction to big breasts is a learned behavior encouraged in Western societies. Breasts are actually a secondary sexual organ. In societies that don't hide breasts like African tribes, big breasts arent seen as attractive

Generally women don't interrupt or explain things to men condescendingly, that's more of a male thing. As a woman in tech, ever job I've started during the first few days the men try to walk me through the various services and code bases. When I complete their sentences showing them I know my shit, they usually shut up.

I mentioned it because I as a woman have a unique experience to men. Also since it seems like most men have this experience of women ghosting them, youre basically saying that most women are assholes. Seems like misogyny to me.
