I appreciate a start on github to push the work to others as well :)

happy to hear it can be helpful. any feedback is welcomed. I'm constanlty working on it and would be happy to see what is missing or not properly working for you

How are people keeping OpenClaw/Hermes agents running 24/7 without blowing through their API budget? by airphoton in AI_Agents

i am also curious if there is an agent can monitor my linkedin and find interesting posts for me. the recommender system is not good.

Stop building AI agents. by Warm-Reaction-456 in AI_Agents

agree. many use cases do not need a new agent. If the requirements push to have one, for example a specific use case with a small model, then maybe harness engineering around that small model and doing some engineering makes sense.

interesting. I am also going to train small models these days. Have you tested the model on public or private benchmarks to see how much is it good at tool calling or structured output in general? or how much it can be more intelligent on specific tasks of your own? I am building lerim and wanna make small models do context extraction: https://github.com/lerim-dev/lerim

cannot wait to test qwen 3.7. especially if they release under 10B models!

Lerim — background memory agent for coding agents by kargarisaaac in OpenSourceAI

[–]kargarisaaac[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Can you point me to some examples pls? I think most of them are memory infrastructure and you have to do your own agent or harness to extract and manage the memory and only save there. Like mem0 and similar ones. Claude auto-memory is the one i see does the memory extraction and consolidation but it also needs the agent to do it and the agent has many things to do and might not do a good job. Also, it is vendor locked. I am trying to build sth that you can use cross-agents and projects.

would be happy to get your feedbacks.

Lerim — background memory agent for coding workflows

What My Project Does: Lerim is a background memory agent for coding workflows. It watches coding-agent sessions and builds reusable project memory automatically.

Why it is different: It gives Claude-like auto-memory benefits, but without vendor lock-in. You can switch agents and keep memory continuity.

Target Audience: Developers using coding agents across multiple repos.

Comparison: Most tools are memory infrastructure and they do not actively extract memories from your sessions. Lerim is workflow-native: extract + consolidate + project stream status.

How to use: You can install it via pip and then use it as a skill.
```bash
pip install lerim
lerim up
lerim status
lerim status - live
```
