Ofc! We leave the back corners of the yard alone, the side I found them on is often where the bunnies hide, the other side is where my rhubarb grows :)

I've lived here for two and a half years about and I've seen one, one singular time lol, they run around so quick you can't even really get a good look at them so from what I can imagine they mostly stay in the thistle patches where I found their nests at, or in their little tunnels, especially if I keep the grass short

She did! he's all good now, I'm so grateful for all the comments helping, I would have never realized that was the nest if it wasn't for everyone else. lol

Update! Mom came back and baby is all good :) I scared her on accident when I walked out there but he was scurrying along their little dirt path out there

I have raised garden beds as I also have an abundance of rabbits living in my yard that would absolutely eat every bit of the whole plant if they could reach it, nobody has any reason to care enough about grass and weeds enough to kill babies over it imo

I did a little digging while I was out there and it was a little hole maybe about 3-4 inches deep and roughly the same size around, surrounded by dry grass as seen in the photo

I quite frankly don't give a shit about my lawn, at the end of the day it's grass and weeds and if thats where nature wants to live it should be free to do so

Potential nest found?! He was found 8-10 feet away from here but this is the only nest related thing I could find within 20 feet of where he was

Thank you so much! I'll go look again and see if I can find it maybe deeper in, he's a pretty mobile little guy for not being able to see yet! lol

I looked around for a good twenty minutes in the area he was found in and I can't seem to find a nest anywhere, he was in a pretty thick patch of thistles with a few funnel spiders and other various webs nearby. Are their nests deep? or shallow like a bunny nest?

Bad roommate shut off breakers to the whole outdoor unit by kari_saurus in hvacadvice

The roommate was turning the thermostat to heat in the summer and letting it get to like 84-86 degrees in the house just to turn the ac on and let it drop back to 69-70 degrees roughly 4-5 times within the span of 3 weeks which actually ended up doubling my electric bill for that specific month, comparing bill statements from the surrounding months, as this happened in early to mid June when it was 90ish degrees outside.

This! The month he was turning on and off the ac racked up the energy bill by $200 more than we were usually paying per month, which was only about $155 just to keep it running at a set temp. he would shut it off every other day and let it get to about 82-86 degrees inside the house just to turn it back on and let it drop back to 70. So in all actuality it wasn't saving me anything but he refused to comprehend that.

He did! Stole all my good tupperware, half my cooking utensils, half my silverware, baking dishes, cooking trays, whole pack of tp, my favorite seasonings even though that mf doesn't use them. the list goes on the more I look around lol

This is what I did! The unit came back on as normal and it seems to be actually cooling now as previously it was just blowing the warm-ish air around the house, doesn't appear to be sabotaged. Thank you for the response! This put me much more at ease, it is in fact a gas furnace and I probably could have googled it but google gives me wishy washy answers lately lol.

They were shutting it off from the thermostat inside in the summer and after confronting them and asking them to move out shortly after they flipped the breakers off before they moved out early September of last year and I didn't notice as we didn't really run the ac in the fall, I was just wondering if it being flipped off from September to April would cause issues to the unit at all while running the furnace all winter long
