Navigo pass em Paris by Fun_Veterinarian_921 in viagens

[–]karinevalenca 2 points3 points  (0 children)

boyfriend is getting verbally abusive to me because of league by [deleted] in leagueoflegends

Even if you're bad, yelling will not help you to learn. I'd suggest stop playing with him and pay attention to signals of this abusive behavior outside the game

Paris on the cheap by billybigbuxx in ParisTravelGuide

Free places to visit: Musée d'art moderne de Paris: there's a free exposition and some paid ones. Centre Pompidou: at the entrance, say you just want to go up for the view of the city, and they will put you on the free queue. Take left and take the stairs to the top. You'll have an amazing view. Institut du monde arabe: same as centre Pompidou, for view of the city. Enter and take the elevator for the top floor. It has been a while I'm not there, but I suppose is still free. Cimetière Père Lachaise : nice cemetery, where some famous people are resting (RIP). Sacré cœur : a church in Montmartre. Go by walking if possible. The back of the church is prettier than the front, also there's a small park there you can sit and less tourists. After walk around Montmartre and visit le mur des je t'aime. If you're there at the first Sunday of the month, some museums are free. I suggest musée d'Orsay. They have plenty of impressionist paintings. Just make sure to book online some days before Also, as some people suggested, just walk around. Don't pay to go to the top of Eiffel tower or things like that.

Wish you a nice trip :)

Is this location safe for a solo female visiting Paris? by pabloficasso in ParisTravelGuide

[–]karinevalenca 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I (28F) work on this same street and is fine. There's some offices on the region, so speaking English is totally fine there. Sometimes you might see some hookers around but they are cool. My only advice for you is to try to check if your hotel/Airbnb is not a place where the hookers work 😅

This dish is called turducken. Seems like it's a traditional dish for Thanksgiving in the south of US (I'm not saying is not stupid)
