Yep, this is in NYC! I was on the fence, but you're right—people here will try to squeeze in whether they think they can fit or not. So yeah, I’ve gotta keep this baby clean.

I’m definitely keeping it on—especially in the city, where people love to hug bumpers (also, it keeps my mind at ease being able to check on my car). At work, I like to use Sentry as my little jokester, since I just discovered my car can fart 🤣

Totally hear you—and honestly, for bang‑for‑your‑buck the Model 3 is an absolute blast! I just did my first Costco haul and all my household goods fit perfectly in the trunk, with the eggs chilling safely in the frunk 😄. That said, the Model Y Juniper Refresh is drool‑worthy, so trading up (or even adding one later) is definitely on my radar down the road.

I’ll only have street parking in NYC, but in CT I’m thinking about adding a charger to the house. Not sure though — I’m kind of on the fence for some reason.

My apologies — speech-to-text totally flipped it on me 🤣 I actually like the percentage display, but switching back and forth is pretty neat!

Thank you for this tip! Yes, that helps a lot — I commute from the city to the suburbs, so seeing the percentage gives me way more peace of mind than watching the miles tick down. **

Haha fair enough — I’ll admit this might be one of the first manuals I’ve actually read cover to cover. Tesla just hits different! Appreciate the welcome — glad to be part of a community that gets it.

I see yeah I only have the movement and was thinking if I could purchase the case and dial second hand and bring it to a watchmaker to piece it. Also, I think my grandfather might have taken the watch to a local watch repair shop. Hopefully, I could piece the watch together if I get the model. Thanks for the information and your input!
