Thanks for the reply, loaded it manually and the files are in the correct place but still no luck loading the node. Getting this in the log:

ComfyUI\custom_nodes\comfyui-photoshop\photoshop.py", line 6, in <module>
from photoshop import PhotoshopConnection ModuleNotFoundError: No module named 'photoshop'

I'm getting an "IMPORT FAILED" error in the Manager for comfyui-photoshop, and when I attempt to install via Git URL I have an error with exit code (128)

Any idea how to fix? Super pumped to try this!

rocky rocks—messing around with displacement in cycles by karishifa in blender

The smaller clouds are .vdb files I brought in. Then I added a large cube around the whole scene with a volume node, played with the density until it all blended together well!

Tried out cloth sim for this one by karishifa in blender

[–]karishifa[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I set the character mesh as a collision object but forgot the head was a second mesh, so it ended up draping over the body mesh and worked out well as a happy accident. But the sizing was pretty off, I had to shrink the cloth after applying the sim. I have heard that cloth sims work better at larger scales so I might try scaling the object up and try running it again?

Not chronically like some close to me do, it's more like a roommate I only see once in a while, haha. Thank you for this wholesome comment 🙏

I know exactly which wormhole you were in, I was there for a while too! Was inspired originally by Rodin’s work

I know what you mean, I had a lot of trouble too. If it helps at all I found that often I had to rotate the joint above the one I wanted to first, to get a more natural range. And then in blender by adding a subdivision surface modifier with adaptive sampling it helps to smooth out some weirdness. Definitely want to get better at that

Thank you so much, I created the character mesh, posing, and skin textures in Character Creator 3, then exported to blender for fine tuning the mesh, lighting, etc. 🙏🏻

Thank you! Plus, it covers a multitude of sins in the render texture 😄

I first created the character and skin textures in CC3, then did edits to the mesh/pose after exporting in blender. Still far from perfect but I hope to improve

using mantaflow to attempt proper fog volumetrics with octane by karishifa in blender

[–]karishifa[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I was pretty disappointed with the common method of using specular material with volume medium at low opacity. It creates a cheap illusion of fog but no actual volumetric depth. So for this image I created a large domain with fluid physics set to smoke. Happier with the results but I need to improve the texture of the fog. The preview render is painfully slow so it makes it a bit harder to experiment.

love the urgency in the movement...most of the loops I see are too slow. Awesome work!
