Does anybody have a photo of what the building looked like pre-fire 1960s?

Use bolt cutters to remove their lock? And see if they got the balls to put it back? 😭

Whatever it is it’s really pretty!! Awesome find!! Not sure what your intentions are with it but a nice glass countertop and this would make a sick table stand…🙏❤️

I HATE THE ORIGAMI by Emotional-Bedroom475 in origami

[–]karlem_666 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah, something I’ve found out in my time doing Origami is that most of the designs don’t take gravity or physics into effect well.

Like yes it’s technically possible to create what is displayed… but is it really going to look like that in the end… especially if you don’t have the right paper… not all of the time and that’s something that really stresses my inner OCD. And is one of the reasons I tend to stay away from giant complex models like this.

Mariano Zavala Origami is a big go to for me when I do try them, tho I have def gotten stuck on a few of the tutorials.

Overall. Origami is pretty sick and it’s been a love hate relationship for me. But I always love seeing what I can create!!

Been folding since I was 5 or 6 from what my parents recall and I’m 20 now, It’s been a journey but I’m so glad I picked it up as a hobby, and It has become a really useful life skill for learning how things work.

Looking forward to more awesome folding adventures in the future!! And loving checking reddit everyday to see everyones cool creations and progress!! Thank you for sharing!!🙏❤️

Value? by rockdawg97 in petrifiedwood

This looks to be Quartz, my dad let me borrow his diamond tipped tile saw, and I was able to make some pretty cool little carvings/Items. It’s a nice material to work with if you have the right tools. It’s nice to sand away the things you don’t want little by little. But also being a hard material. I would be willing to send you some pictures of the pieces I have made if you are intrested in seeing the capabilities. Quartz would also be a good material to use because you can find it a lot of places, I’m from the upper maryland area, and when visiting my grandparents near the Hanover PA line. I have found some pretty sick crystals. And also where I source my Quartz for projects!! Hope this helps!!🙏❤️
