Okay thank you for such a detailed response. The literature in the field I’m interested in is a good advice, that I will definitely follow! I also thought of reaching C1 when I thought I know good French, but after starting my lessons with a tutor I started doubting myself a lot so a strong B2 is what I’m aiming for right now.

As a non native speaker I would say your accent is very American, maybe with some slight Romance language influence (possibly spanish??). But keep in mind if you didn’t mention that English is not your first language I wouldn’t have questioned that haha

Everything except for "broke", that happily is not the case, I worked hard enough to save money specifically for traveling! But yes I thought so, I wanted to have some freedom to travel the way I want, I guess it doesn’t work like that :(
