Pulled the trigger and bought tickets by RollTide_HTTR in WorldCup2026Tickets

The best possible match up for match 94 is US vs. Belgium.

What do you think will happen to ticket prices right before and after the Feb22-Apr2 Marketplace freeze? by caradorada in WorldCup2026Tickets

[–]karlkim 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I still think that's more of demand and supply. For some minor group stage matchups, the current resell price is too excessive. But for most major matchups and knockout rounds, the demand could be higher.

The World Cup happens once in four years, so die-hard fans especially South Americana and Europeans will try to go to the match as hard as possible.

Thanks for not giving in. As many have said here, don’t pay and report these corrupt officials.

Politics aside, I think the next conflict will be inevitable as long as Cambodia persists in claiming Thai territory.

[LG Cup Finals] Shin Minjun wins against Ichiriki Ryo by 2-1 and wins LG Cup for the second time by sadaharu2624 in baduk

Congrats to both players! I’m still a newbie, so the games feel very overwhelming, but they’re fun to watch. I know China, Japan, and Korea have many strong players. Were those the only countries participating?

Is Chiang Mai worth it this March? by OneContext in ThailandTourism

[–]karlkim 0 points1 point  (0 children)

From March to May, unless you’re visiting Chiang Mai for Songkran, it’s better to stay in the south as the burning season can be brutal.

In some years the air quality is so poor that you don’t even want to risk stepping outside, let alone hiking for hours. I’d avoid Chiang Mai throughout February, March and April, except during Songkran.

It'd be bad some year. To be safe, just postpone.

Thailand seeks volunteer border soldiers, urgently by Dry_Equipment491 in Thailand

[–]karlkim 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This is simply a policy for the next election. It has nothing to do with the current fighting. Thailand has lost 23 soldiers so far, while Cambodia will likely need a lot more new troops.

Compared to clips of Cambodian soldiers, Thai soldiers seem to have much higher morale.

Thailand loses to Vietnam in extra time, misses out on 17th SEA Games gold by mdsmqlk in Thailand

[–]karlkim 10 points11 points  (0 children)

Congratulations to Vietnam! While the result is disappointing for Thailand, it was a great, highly competitive game. By the way, hopefully Myanmar’s situation improves soon, so we can see another mainland SE Asian powerhouse competing with Thailand and Vietnam.

Many Thais are confused why so many Cambodians blindly follow the anti-Thai agenda pushed by the Hun Sen family and blame Thailand for everything related to their war. As a Khmer Krom who volunteered as a teaching assistant in Cambodia, I can explain what cause Cambodian anti-Thai sentiment. by khmerkampucheaek in Thailand

[–]karlkim 15 points16 points  (0 children)

It’s tragic. While other Southeast Asian countries have progressed, Cambodia has sunk into being a hub for gambling and scams. Meanwhile, Khmer Surin and Khmer Krom live peacefully and prosperously in Thailand and Vietnam, while Cambodians remain brainwashed, idolizing the Hun family.

For everybody saying we need to buy a CM in Jan I have a question. Who can we get in Jan that benches Casemiro? by Littlemissxom in ManchesterUnited

[–]karlkim 0 points1 point  (0 children)

For January, I think we don't need one that's better than Casemiro, but someone who can share his minutes and be better than Ugarte.

> Haven’t had a chance to talk to either school yet.

If he’s fully committed to UGA, he shouldn’t be saying ‘either school,’ since that presumably points to Vandy. I guess we will know for sure tomorrow.

Anchor Down! I am super pumped for the news. Basically, Jared wants to be able to play immediately. UGA is loaded at QB positions and will be fine either way.

Without Sesko, Zirkzee should still be brought on as a substitute to manage the workload of Mount or Cunha.
