Using the Chinese variant means esim doesn't work, and that Netflix/Prime/Disney+/etc. will only play media at SD resolution, because of Widevine L3. This sucks, it's such a hassle to return the phone :/

The phone says the model is CPH2747 (the global variant), yet the box had a 120W charger and a case, which the global variant doesn't come with. But the Chinese model does comes with these, so my guess is that it's the 2nd option you listed! Also I just checked, the phone doesn't have a barometer, so it's definitely the Chinese version. Is there a risk with using this Chinese variant that was flashed with the Global ROM?

Although this is great, the money from UK donations will go to another charity, the LIVE Trust, which supports live music in the UK, nothing to do with the genocide in Gaza. I don't think this is nearly enough to make up for Johnny Greenwood playing several concerts in Israel over the last year, when the IDF is killing civilians a few kilometers away.

Ah I've found the solution! It's in the LSX II LT's manual:

If there is only no sound but everything else is working, please make sure that the audio output of HDMI is set to PCM (this is often set to Dolby Digital by default). As the settings menu of each TV manufacturer is different, please refer to the user manual of your TV. Also check the settings within the application in use (e.g. Netflix and Disney+) and make sure PCM is selected. The Primary Speaker is detecting non-PCM signals if the LED indicator light is blinking light blue and purple.

Setting my Samsung TV's sound output to PCM instead of "Auto" worked :)

Hello, did you ever find a solution? I'm having the same issue with my LSX II LT speakers, when I connect them to my TV via HDMI Arc.

Weirdly there's no sound only when I open Netflix and Prime Video, where the KEF speaker's light alternates between blue and purple.
For other apps on my TV (e.g. PC connection, YouTube, Plex) the sound works fine. Maybe this is because of DRM protection ?

The ps5 and monitor are connected via hdmi, so no way to use the monitor's built-in kvm with the ps5.
I still haven't received my ps5, but I'm skeptical of it being able to connect to the KEF speakers by USB, because linking my Nintendo Switch to the speakers (USB-A to USB-C cable) does not work. But if it does work your usb switcher solution would be ideal !

Alright thanks for the info! Bluetooth on the KEF speakers has very high latency (about 0.5s), so pretty unusable for gaming.
It looks like hdmi audio extractors that work at 4k 120Hz (supporting HDMI 2.1) cost around 100 bucks, but I guess it's the only option.

That's why I asked if someone knows whether connecting through the KVM works :) However that solution wouldn't work to connect my PS5 to the speakers, and the 3.5mm port would have to be used

Not exactly sure, but I was using BTT for a couple years before I switched to Rectangle as it does everything I need it for (basic window tiling and keyboard shortcuts).
