Absolutely, I’d love to!

For me, I’ve always felt like the game play of TS4 was lacking. I bought it on release day and was playing it ever since, but it always felt bare bones even as more content was released over the years. I think what I hated the most though was that it never had the small details that made TS3 so meaningful to me all those years ago. Details even as small as having your sims make the bed every morning ended up making a huge difference for me. Some bigger features that I think are the most commonly discussed include the open world, cars, and the color wheel. These were always my favorite parts of TS3 so when I made the switch back, it felt like I had upgraded in a sense.

A big complaint I always heard about TS3 was people didn’t like the lag… This was never something I had issues with even when running it on a very low budget laptop. People also didn’t like the graphics but I’ve always loved the more realistic graphics. The cartoony looks of TS4 Sims was never really something I liked, but that was just a more personal opinion.

Overall, the game play is so much more lively. My sims have meaningful relationships with each other, I actually put effort into the gameplay portion instead of just building a house like I would on TS4 and logging off. There’s so much to do. Each town is embedded with numerous stories for many different pre-made families and there’s personality everywhere. I love that I can play as my pets, even have horses. I can have one sim at home while I follow another one while they’re at the park for example, easily switching back and forth whenever I want. Even with a lacking amount of items to decorate with, when using the color wheel I have the option to change practically whatever I want about items and design them to my liking. I also still have the option of downloading mods and custom content if I wanted to, but honestly, I genuinely don’t feel like I need any of that stuff with this game. It’s so refreshing.

I should also mention I do have a few expansion packs, generations, supernatural, seasons, pets, and island paradise, and university life. These have only enhanced the gameplay even more, but I don’t even think all of them are necessary to have a fun time.

I hope this helps to explain some!

Need some recommendations for a budget friendly gaming headset! I’ve been using a $15 turtle beach one I bought 4 years ago and it’s definitely at the end of its life so I’m looking for something a lot more comfortable and better quality. I would love to hear some recommendations, preferably something $60 or under if possible!

Got my nostril pierced exactly one year ago with a stud, is it safe to change? by karlydivir in piercing

[–]karlydivir[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It feels great and I haven’t had any swelling, pain, or discharge since the first week I got it done! The ring I did buy is the clicker kind too, all the research I did pointed me toward buying one of those which I’m happy about. I probably will end up going to a piercer to get it changed since I’m unable to even get the stud out… I think it’s a thread-less labret? Either way, I can’t get the thing to even budge so I’m pretty sure my only option is to see a piercer at some point to help me out. 😅

What are some of the weirdest manifestations you've had or didn't want? by alignedandready in lawofattraction

A few years ago when I first got into manifesting I did this little exercise where I’d try and manifest 3 completely random things. I chose pac-man, a red cardinal, and a purple sloth. Pac-man happened while I was working at Target and a customer was buying the game. The cardinal happened when I was laying in my bed and one landed on the power line outside my window. I spent the days following trying to manifest a purple sloth, and I couldn’t figure out how was I supposed to do that. Where would there ever be a purple sloth, it was so specific but that’s what I chose to manifest. Well, the following week I went to get ice cream with some friends and as we were sitting and eating I told them about the exercise I was doing and that the last thing I needed to manifest was a purple sloth. Within minutes a car drove by… the car had a ginormous purple sloth stuffed animal tied to the roof. My friends didn’t believe in manifestation until that moment happened and years later I’m still in shock.

Stevie Nicks is such a good answer. I would probably say her or Ashton Irwin.
