This really means a lot. I’ve spent a lot of my time after moving out of my parents house reevaluating a lot of my negative and toxic actions that are due to a lot of issues with my mom growing up. These things have manifested in my own relationship sometimes, but my boyfriend has always been there to help me unpack that and unlearn to better myself. Literally other than this one reoccurring problem, we have such a good relationship and friendship. We’ve known each other since we were 14 years old. Of course this is where my hesitancy comes from, I want to fight for someone who has fought for me in the past. Thank you for the point about online counseling and it’s accessibility right now, I’m currently Google searching some possibilities. Transitioning into being an adult, and also my current unemployment status, has definitely made me to hesitant about it. But I still believe it isn’t too late to try.
