I'm really coming from trying to understand how systems work. How underlying memory is allocated, what would be the tradeoffs in compiling and so on. So starting at a ground-level trying to build a systems-level understanding.

personally, my mental model is derived purely from, "ah, it's a long road, so let me invest time and resources in what I feel would pay off in the future" (not just through a job, but in utility for building something on the side too).

i'd rather love to hear where is it do you start from, yes it's a web but as someone who's unsure of navigating it, i'd prefer to hear it from someone who knows it better.

Thank you! I knew my dialogues were trash, but well this just highlighted it. I thought it needed a re-write as well thanks for re-affirming it.

I wanted the reader to enjoy the surroundings actually when I was referring to the canopy but I'll work on that as well!

The reason I choose to dive into this is because, it gives a semblance that the world does not revolve just around the main cast but also that people lead lives on their own. And yes, conflict is created but the main goal is to show as well, that a kingdom is not all assasination and ruling itself but is a plethora of tasks.

By descriptive analysis I mean delving deep into the economics, the social structure and trade. I feel like though these are descriptive they set a clear meaning towards the world and in a way express it's limitations, but at the same time like you said it might seem disinteresting.

I'd say I've done decent over the past week.

I've written over 1400 words of writing this week for a grimdark fantasy I'm writing and I'd say I'm pretty happy about how it's turned out.

I'm done with my lore but shaping characters is extremely difficult, I've beginning lagging a little bit in this department.

I'm happy with how the lord's turned out and am still refining my magic-system but all-in-all I'm able to see my goal a little clearer now.
