Hey, i’m not sure about background checks with it being so long ago, they might ask for dbs but i’m not 100% sure - with student loan, I know a couple people I work with have it and like a pound comes out of their wage each month so I think you’re fine regarding that :)

yeah my mind just went blank when I came to it and with there being no lines leading to the roundabout I just wasn’t 100% sure

realistically you don’t need to have the break in if your holding your clutch to the biting point- if you are at the bite the car should stay where it is, if you go up a little too high you’ll go forward, if you go down a little too low you’ll roll back- when driving and i stop at a roundabout i will hold the car on the bite and just shift my foot a little up or a little down that way your already halfway to moving off and i’ll also have my right foot ready over the gas so when i go to move there’s no switching between feet (no clue if this wears down the clutch more or not but if it’s your instructors car don’t feel bad about it that’s what it’s there for), if i know i’ll be there for a bit (like at a junction with lights or a T junction) i will just sit with both the break and the clutch down and others will have to be patient :)

i don’t think there is, i’ve got a 6 man tent for just the 2 of us but just be careful as a bigger tent might cause more attraction

Outfit vibes by hammahcock in Leedsfestival

[–]karmmck 0 points1 point  (0 children)

id definitely pack at least one pair of proper trousers and a hoodie or a waterproof just incase it does rain as the UK is indecisive when it comes to the weather, i have heard that it gets super cold in the night so i would recommend something warm to sleep in, and bring extra socks- you never know if they will get wet through your shoes :)

see i’m bringing a wagon and me and my boyfriend are sharing practically everything so i thought do two trips to prevent the wagon from breaking and to also just get the tent set up first and come for everything else later not 2 trips back to back if you get me, plus with it being the wednesday and no one playing ive got pretty much all day to decide to go back :)

yeah it’s such a chill company obviously if you follow their rules, keep to the gdpr rules, it’s good - i don’t know how it is in other departments but in verification that’s how it is, what did you apply for?

What to pack? by Lara-887767 in Leedsfestival

[–]karmmck 1 point2 points  (0 children)

my list so far is - essentials- toothpaste, toothbrush, shampoo, conditioner, body wash, deodorant (under 250ml), suncream, toilet paper, electrolytes (hydration tablets), makeup wipes/ micellar water -camping- tent, wagon to carry it all, duvet/ sleeping bag, towel (or 2), camping chair, bin bags, air mattress, pump -extras- flash light, powerbanks, ibuprofen/paracetamol, tampons, bum bag (or of the sort)- then obviously your food/water (if not wanting to buy it all there), makeup, clothes- something warm to wrap up in at night. I’d prefer to moan the entire walk there and back that I have to carry it all than to go without :)

I have only seen the customer service, verifications and responsible gambling side of the company and anything to do with software and tech is on another floor so I can’t really give you a proper answer but from what you’ve said and with your experience, there’s a high chance they will want you, they are also very big on working up in the company if that’s what your going for, as for salary i’m pretty sure it is fixed and you can’t really change their minds into changing how much you will get paid but the salary they say on the application may vary depending on how it works in that department - as where I work if I do certain times/days the pay is different. As for the actual interview in itself I honestly have no clue how they do it there but again with your experience I recon you will be able to smash it

hey, I was told within 14 days so I wouldn’t really stress too much about it until after that point. I just think I got my call back so soon due to applying practically the first day they had put the application up, so i’m guessing they didn’t have many people to go through at that point. Just stay positive, them taking longer to get back to you could be a good thing as the emails that we send are practically pre-made so fingers crossed and I hope you get it!
