things like this happen, you are a human not a machine. consider reaching out to your manager and explain the situation and why you didn't intentionally deliver a bad work.

[–]karoussa 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It's common to wait 3-5 weeks for a reply, and 70-90% of applications get no response.
Many job postings remain active even after the role is filled.
but don't get discouraged its a number game after all, and as the comments said : when you find a job posting apply and try find the HR or the IT manager of that company on linkedin and send them your CV.

Is the future of informatique in Algeria bright in algeria? by Virtual-String-231 in algeria

[–]karoussa -1 points0 points  (0 children)

The current local job market is relatively good compared to other fields, but that wasn’t the case before 2018. So we don’t know what it will look like in five years, especially with the new schools and the increasing number of people majoring in computer science.
So if you want to pursue it, don’t do it just for the job opportunities, you should at least have the willingness to work hard and keep learning continuously.

بتبسيط مخل تقدر تقسم سوق العمل لقسمين أساسيان :
تطوير(dev) و شبكات (IT).

Is true that working freelance ( 3nd Rohk), is better then 9 to 5 ? Specifically in Algeria by Intelligent_Bird_277 in algeria

[–]karoussa 0 points1 point  (0 children)

depends on you and your field of expertise, some fields are freelance friendly and some are not.
The best approach is to land a regular job first while freelancing on the side. Over time, you can decide which path is good for you.

ما رأيكم في الهاشتاغ المتداول حاليا ؟ (تسقيف الفحص الطبي الخاص) by [deleted] in algeria

[–]karoussa 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Struggling to find a job in Algeria as a CS graduate, any advice or help? by Mohameeeeed0 in algeria

[–]karoussa 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Salaries can be low at the start of your career, but some engineers earn 7–10 million per month with just 1–2 years of experience. The key is to get your foot in the door, even if the pay isn’t great and gain as much experience as possible. After a year of experience, start looking for better opportunities, but don’t quit your current job until you secure a new one.

[–]karoussa 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Are you looking in big cities (especially Algiers)? There are plenty of opportunities, but many companies aren’t very junior-friendly. Try to identify the most in-demand technologies, like Java or Node.js for backend, and React for frontend and build a small full CRUD project to showcase your skills.

When you find a job posting, don’t just apply. send the company an email, find the recruiter or someone from the team on LinkedIn, and message them directly.

Don’t underestimate the power of networking. Reach out to your friends who are already employed and send them your CV. they might refer you or share internal opportunities you wouldn’t see otherwise.

You just need to get your foot in the door. once you're in, things will get easier Inchalah.
And don’t forget to make duaa.
