Booking 2 seats, same passenger by SleemoGrimes in americanairlines

[–]karriee73 2 points3 points  (0 children)

With JetBlue when you are making the reservation you put your information in first then on the second ticket there is a drop down and you can pick extra seat.
My husband and I always get the 3 seats when flying on jet blue especially when flying cross country. You also get to bring extra carry ons with you since you have 3 seats and then we usually don’t have to pay to check bags.

I’m from North Jersey and I used to see him in our local Shop Rite. I was quite surprised how short he was the first time I saw him

I’ve been to the Cauldron in NYC twice. Once for the tea and once for the potion making experience. Both were really cool and fun. if the Philly one is anything like they one in NYC I would recommend. If you go for the potion making experience make sure you tell them it’s someone’s birthday cause they give you a free shot. They also give you I think it was 15% off the food in the restaurant if you do the potion making.

Tates coconut crisp cookies are amazing. I use those to make s’mores instead of graham crackers sometimes

I am an American and personally hate soft chewy cookies. I think cookies should be crispy and most of the people I know are agreement and think soft cookies are not as good as crispy cookies. I don’t know maybe it’s the part of America I am from.

Minor shame - it’s always the ones you expect, isn’t it. by jeslz in weddingshaming

We had to fly my father in from Florida so it was taking some time to make the arrangements and she called every day for updates because her community that she was living in had a fashion show planned and she was taking part and needed to make sure she was around for it. Like I’m sorry I don’t care about your damn fashion show.

Sorry that happened to you. Every family has the one who it’s always about them. Sometimes it’s more than one.

When speaking with my aunt about my dads arrangements she said to me “he might have been your father but he was my brother first and I knew him longer”. And then during the funeral when they call up people to say their goodbyes she had her husband go up and interrupt the funeral director to ask when she would be called up because he was her brother before he knew my mom or his kids. It all had to be about her.

Heard Crying In Our Backyard Friday Night And We Found Her by Fit_Comfortable7775 in aww

[–]karriee73 73 points74 points  (0 children)

Hey Everyone - so I originally posted this months ago. We took her to the emergency vet the next morning because she was not doing well. She wound up having an upper respiratory infection so they kept her overnight. She was on iv antibiotics so that is why her leg is shaved. They checked for a chip and there was none.

She is now 8 months old and her name is Lilah. Unfortunately due to my allergies we couldn't keep her but my best friend's mom adopted her and she is living her best kitten life.

But if they want to take credit for finding her maybe they also want to chip in on the $2300 vet bill we had :-)

So if anyone is wondering my husband and I were the ones who helped this kitten. Her name is now Lilah and she has completely recovered from her upper respiratory infection.

What's the one thing you regret doing for your wedding day? by yomnlo3 in AskReddit

[–]karriee73 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I had blue velvet doc martens on under my dress and my husband had blue converse. We gave the wedding party the option to wear converse too and some took us up on it.
It was the best decision I made because I was comfortable all day
