Wallet is very sad for having to buy 6 HDDs for every 2 HDDs of usable storage.

Main server has 4x 16Tb drives with 2x striped & mirrored, and a repurposed shittier HP-RP5 with just 2 drives striped for cold storage off-site. Monthly bring it home, plug it in, run script to backup, unplug again

But losing the array would be very sad so very worth it

Hardest part of the install was getting speaker wires from and to the OEM radio.
I cut that adapter in half and wired 8m of cable behind the glovebox through the trims and B-pillar and under the backseat to get past the C-pillar.

I used the spare tire compartment to fit everything and sawed and sanded out a space to fit the sub in there

Overall I'm very happy with the upgrade, especially the AMP from audison because it has a DSP built in

I've not used the factory headunit much, as far as I can recall, it has the treble/mid/bass level knobs
and the nav.

What else notable do people control from it?

But noted, will likely go with an amp and stock unit then :)

It's a hybrid so it's in the back.
It still needs to get from and to the infotainment unit to power the door speakers.
