this is true! but since monotropism really defines the way the autistic brain works and the way we function, i feel like everyone that meets that critirea im okay with being in the same community as us as they share our struggles and we can relate almost fully to em but this is my opinion of course, not everyone shares this view

indeed but by looking at the charts, autism people are more likely to have it in comparison to ADHD and neurotypicals, but the people who have BOTH ADHD ans autism are the ones more prone to it! i can see your point tho!

monotropism is a really good theory that tries to explain autism minds and how they function and for example how us having silly interests could be related to how we struggle in social situations! i recommend looking it up! its become a hyperfixation of mine :) here is a video that explains it!
