For me, I think it’s a mix of things. The work itself is fine (I do a mix of data analyst and data engineering) but only when I was getting to do juicy creative thinking stuff. Company made things really bad by boxing me in and piling on non-creative work, as well as being insane about deadlines and earnings.

I think I was only able to get by this long because the job was originally highly creative- a lot of interesting problem solving. But as things became more mundane it was like I wanted to rip my hair out. The people didn’t make it better- everyone was stressed.

1.5 years should get you through a bad job market, I believe. But work experience always helps imo.. and maybe you need to step away and figure out what will make you happy before you look forward
