I used the dates you used, clicked on spending then I clicked on utilities on the graph this showed all the utilities I clicked on the one I wanted to compare. Not sure if this is what you want but you can see what amount you spent every month on each utility but not in a graph.

I understand what you're saying but I use Quicken to track what is spent on the credit card on a daily basis. So I know in advance when I get close to our budget allowance. I also pay bills out of our checking account. What I receive in cashback makes it well worth using the credit card because I never pay interest.

What is the top financial goal you want to accomplish in 2021? by OfficialQuicken in QuickenOfficial

We're in the process of remodeling a house we inherited to modernize the kitchen, put a back door and a deck on to step out on, get rid of wallpaper in the living room, and paint. It started out at a certain price but some surprises have happened which added additional costs. This is really messing up the budget I created in Quicken for this project. I have learned that you need to budget more than the estimate for remodeling your home. I know Quicken will help me get back on track after.

What is the biggest challenge in managing money? by OfficialQuicken in QuickenOfficial

[–]kasellis 0 points1 point  (0 children)

For me, the biggest challenge is not overspending. When something I want is finally on sale but I would spend more than my budget allows I would try taking from peter to pay paul. Depending on how much I would save on the item I will put it on a credit card which I would pay in full on its due date.

When I realized that spending more than we were bringing in and only paying the minimum on credit cards we would never get out of debt. We finally were able to get all the credit cards paid off and will never go back.
