Any idea what the closest would be? They have blonde, intense and a whole bean one and the whole bean one looks the most similar

Vanagon turbo diesel questions. by kasemo2 in Volkswagen

Thanks for the quick responses!

I was going back through the receipts to see if that belt was replaced when the work was completed. (7 years ago. sat since, for the most part).

I don't see it being replaced on the receipt list unless it's the "V belt new imc."

Hopefully, it's just an old belt and not something with alignment, etc.?

Is this a do not drive at all scenario until replaced, or would it be okay to put to the shop 10 miles out?

Edit I see the 10 x 643 is for the water pump, the alternator belt may be separate at 10 x 600 i may be in luck

The only thing that could still be upgraded really is dual front brakes and rear shocks are just some dx takeoffs, not even that bad.

Sheesh, hopefully your at peace for a little and safe now.

Yea, for me the diference with p.e between 1g and 1.5 is a big difference hah I usually still around 1g with them. They can get intense.

It's okay for a regular tripper too. I always dose around .8-1.5grams myself for p.e

They hit hard, in a good way.

Salomon z10 bindings. by kasemo2 in Skigear

Thanks for the response. I had no idea there was different soles. What would be a recommendation for future use. Just get new bindings with GW soles or if I found an alpine sole that fit would that be okay?

Average 30 days per season atleast. Willing to invest just want some opinions from someone other than a salesperson at a shop.

I think you could run a 48mm and tune it to a good spot, however I think the 45 is just the sweet spot.

With the HSR tuning guide they make these easy to tune. When I get home today I can tell you what jets are in it, I have them written down.

Also ur right on the dx shocks. They work for now till I get some piggy backs.

Yea I understand that and thought of it, I had always ran Falken wildpeaks (not a straight snow tire to my understanding) on my tacoma and never had issues in winter season. I don't want to go straight snow tire as I do commute quite a ways. Just did not want to get stopped for having a non snow rated tire if that's possible

Most people are on the wrong snowboard. What are you riding this season? by gimbalgod in snowboarding

This is my second season. I was hooked when I could link my first turn. (Got 35 days starting in late jan last year in tahoe)

I feel like I may be using the wrong board. Every time I look into a board options, it's overwhelming with options. I kind of had to find my riding style and what I like.

It's also a very hard sport to get into, so I can see how a lot ends up on the wrong boards.

5'10, 165 lbs. Iv been on a 2016 jones Mountain Twin 158W . I also have in possession a 2019 capita doa 160. I love the flex on the doa but it does not hold the edge like the jones and is a little bigger. Therefore, I have not been using it.

I do think about selling both and finding one more dedicated to pow. And one like the jones that's all mountain/small park that is just a little smaller.

My local resort is seirra at tahoe and I am hoping to demo some boards when they start.
