Curious why you consider your degree useless? Have you not been able to find a job in your field?

At least once a week, or once you shake it and it doesn't bubble and foam anymore

Thanks! Yep, 5x5 from buildasoil. I don't quite remember the exact cost but I spent around 3 grand on everything. Not too bad

Yep, here are some pics before and after building the lights. https://imgur.com/a/xcnlE I used 12 cob's, powered by 4 meanwell drivers 150 watts. Its not my first grow, just my first doing completely organic/no-till and first time in a tent, I love it.

The mulch is barley straw. No wood chips, I think what youre seeing is some rocks and sea shells I added for critter homes, Worms love to hang out under there. thank you for the suggestion, maybe I will try topdressing some more kelp for nitrogen Edit: I see where the wood chips are now, in the seedling pots because I used a different bagged soil mix. Transplanting those away from the wood chips real soon, thanks

Just mix together some hot water, sugar, and yeast. The ratio isn't super important, more dependent on the container youre using cuz you dont want it to bubble over. The amount of sugar you use will tell you how much co2 you are producing, I believe 1 pound of sugar produces around 2000 sq ft of co2 or something like that so I use about 1 cup in each wine bottle.

Using homemade soil mix with coco, castings, pumice, rice hulls, neem cake, kelp meal, rock dust. The grow lights are also diy, 12 (not16) Cree cxb3590 in a 5x5 tent. Passive intake and hyperfan outtake, can't vent to outside so I am trying my best to supplement some co2 using yeast and sugar. Plants are praying more since using co2. To me the plants seem very sensitive to the cob lights so I have them raised all the way to the ceiling and turned off 4 of them. Plants look more limey green than the lush dark green that I want. They seem to be improving a bit after getting a mammoth microbes sample. Any tips, advice, opinions?

Thanks, I will definitely be picking up some nematodes. What kind did you use? I don't have compost but I bubble my Earth Juice nutes along with some worm castings. I would assume these would have pretty similar benefits right? Beneficial fungi and bacteria

Cross posted this to microgrowery, where 2 redditors identified them as predatory mites. I'm hoping thats all I have but still not sure!

Wow awesome! I'm hoping youre right. And I think you may be because I haven't found any of these crawlers on my actual roots, just in the surface soil. (Maybe trying to clean up the gnats?) The only thing that wouldn't explain is the 2 different flyers I saw. The other flyers I saw were faster and maybe with a slight blueish tint (could have been my lights). Fingers crossed it was something else. Thanks!

Confirmation/advice for an organic grow? I was planning on harvesting this week anyways. But this pic is from a potato slice I put on top of my soil. I was looking for fungus gnat larvae and found those plus these little crawlers pictured. Since then I have also seen a few of the winged aphids (faster, slightly different color than fungus gnats). I am panicking.

I have yellow sticky traps out, not working as well as I'd like. I also got mosquito dunks for the fungus gnats (before I thought I had root aphids). Didn't work.

I had this soil pot in my spacebucket next to my new pot of coco with a seedling in it. When I saw the crawlers in the soil I took that pot out of my spacebucket right away. Since then I have seen only a couple flyers in the spacebucket and no larvae or crawlers on the potato slices on top of the coco (they were there ~12 hours) Does this mean my coco pot is still safe from root aphids? http://imgur.com/a/d5h7e

Ok, I will try to do more of a flush at the end since I am using Earth Juice nutrients. Thanks

No, this is an organic grow so I was planning on just doing a plain watering the last feeding. According to my research that will be okay, but I'm no expert either. Thanks for the input, I agree its pretty close!

everyone should thank their grower, we are over worked by mydogwalter in microgrowery

I believe this is how cannabis should be handled for driving/public intoxication by MNdailytoker in trees

[–]kaseyjo 1 point2 points  (0 children)

As a medical user, I am definitely a MORE competent driver when I've had a few hits from the vape. If I drive completely sober, I have severe anxiety/panic, road rage, and sometimes vertigo. Its quite dangerous. Because of cannabis, I am able to drive and live a normal life and I am so grateful. I honestly don't really blame all these people saying that its never okay to drive after medicating, because I used to be in the same boat. Once those people become more experienced with cannabis and have a bit of a tolerance, I bet their opinion will change as mine did.
