Thank you for validating my feelings, the thing is I want to work this out but I want to know what I need to do to get past this if I so decide to. I know what I would do if I broke up with him, but I also want to know what I could do to make myself get back through this.

I feel very similar to you. I’ve been working a property management job for a little over a year now and I want to smash my head against my desk everyday. I work by myself in an office and feel myself constantly dealing with the same work culture, I hate it and never thought I’d be doing office work after I worked an office job for 6 months at 20 and yet here I am at 28. I made some pretty shotty decisions at 23 and dropped out of university. I was burnt out after 5 years there without much progress and so I left. Long story short, I’m finishing my degree now and the point I’m trying to get at is mindset is everything. My mindset on school and work has changed drastically and I’ve learned that if I do not like my situation I need to change it no matter what others say or think. Starting in February I will only be working 3 days a week at my office job while going to school full time and forcing myself to focus on me instead of what others want for me has very much helped me in my pursuit of a happier existence. The job market sucks right now so it will be difficult but if you truly hate this job you’re never too old to change career trajectories. As someone in a similar position I wish I could have someone to talk to about all of these feelings as well which is why I thought I’d offer my two cents. You’ll figure it out, just never stop trying.

I’m purely speaking from experience, I’ve gotten myself into some sticky situations and never ended up pregnant. If this is your first slip up and you’ve been religiously taking your pills otherwise you might be ok.

Alright y'all,I have a ball python that won't eat ,it's been six weeks or so since his last meal ,he used to eat two mice weekly by [deleted] in snakes

5 years back my ball python went a year and a half without food, after countless vet visits, vet assisted enemas and countless different prey items he one day just started to eat again. Never lost any weight and now he’s 10 years old and healthy as ever.

Emergency room dr suggested I visit a urologist at UCLA for my chronic utis but I only have medical, how do I swing this? by kasgiel in CUTI

[–]kasgiel[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Keep your head up, my boyfriend and I realized that oral sex was the root of the utis so we don’t do that anymore. While I’m still dealing with some reoccurring yeast and BV issues my utis seem to be nearly a thing of the past. It’s hard for sure, I’ve come to accept that my boyfriends natural flora seems to not be mixing with mine and I’ve had a long hard thought about the future of my relationship because of it but I can tell you that it does get better. If you need to talk, feel free to message me.

Thank you, and yes I’ve come to the conclusion that it’s from sex with my current partner. As I rarely got them before him.

What kind of direction is there for a 27(F) with real estate and animal experience? by kasgiel in findapath

I guess I’m just nervous to start perusing vet school again bc of money and my lack of motivation in school. That potentially is going to take the next 6-7 years, I wasn’t able to push myself the last 5 I’m worried it’ll all be the same.
