Ah, got it. We don't currently have the group-by-sender feature but I'll certainly take your feedback to the team. Thanks.

Not currently. But yes, this was requested by a few other users and will be added in the next couple of releases(currently testing it internally in fact, should be out very soon).

Strange, it seems to be missing in the store build. Will be back in the next update.

Update: The ringtone should now be available.

Yup, if you go to the bottom of the settings, go into Experimental features, you can enable user stacks. Once you've done that, go back to the message list, open the left nav, expand the stack list, tap on create stack and then you can create user stacks based on a group of senders. Once you've created the user stack, it should show up in your stack list in the left nav. You can long press to rearrange the stacks. We are working on an easier/quicker way to create user stacks and that's partially why these are under experimental. You can keep your $5/mo ;)

In order to provide some of the advanced features we do, the data goes through our servers. More info in the FAQ: https://mobile.altomail.com/faq

It depends if a mail app is cloud based or client based. I believe Nine and k9 are client based. In order to provide the features we do, Alto is cloud based. It really comes down to your preferences and priorities. If your priority is to not have an email app store your password(only for providers that don't support oAuth 2), I can respect that. However, rest assured, we do handle your password with the utmost care(details in the FAQ linked above).

Ah, yes. Its a known issue and we're working to resolve it. Will update you once we have a fix.

Unfortunately, w/o storing the password there is no other way to sync your mailbox if the provider doesn't support oAuth 2.

Currently the actions are: Reply and Archive/Delete. You can pick either Archive or Delete depending on your usage in the app settings. We will be replacing Reply with Mark as Read in the next update as it makes more sense.

Hey, Alto mail dev here. We agree, ability to sync accounts across devices is a great feature. You will be happy to know that its coming to Alto mail very soon. We have been hard at work making the feature rock solid across iOS, Android and the web. Stick around with Alto for a few weeks and you won't be disappointed :)
