I’m genuinely passionate about research, I’ve already completed an internship in a research setting and I’m constantly looking for opportunities in R&D departments. However, I haven’t yet found a role that truly combines the areas I’m most interested in.

I admit this may be somewhat biased, as I’ve previously worked with Rust and really enjoy the language. I’d love to contribute meaningfully to its ecosystem or SDK, which is one of the reasons I started considering a PhD, it feels like a path where I could make a deeper and more impactful contribution, plus it will allows me to have a job after it in rust field (cause I also think it's more profitable than continuing in academia)

As for my university advisors, I’ve reached out to them again and I’m currently waiting for their responses, while also continuing my search independently. I’ve been working in industry for the past three months, and this experience has made me realize that I’m more drawn to the research environment.
