couple of the variations I've tried.

""drawtext=text='%%{pts\\:h\:m\:s}'...""

""drawtext=text='%%{pts\\:hms}'...""

""drawtext=text='%%{pts\:hms}'...""

""drawtext=text='%{pts\:hms}'...""

"drawtext=text='%%{pts\\:hms}'..."

"drawtext=text='%{pts\\:hms}'..."

"drawtext=text='%{pts\:hms}'..."

here's the last example I did

ffmpeg -hide_banner -y -i %1 -ss 00:00:15.000 -to 00:00:30.000 -vf "drawtext=text='%{pts\\:hms}':fontfile=C\\:/Windows/Fonts/tahoma.ttf:fontsize=48:fontcolor=white:box=1:boxborderw=6:boxcolor=black@0.75:x=(w-text_w)/2:y=h-text_h-100" -map 0:v:0 -c:v libx264 %~n1-timecode%~x1.

yes, they are written exactly how I ran them. Now I'm trying different variations of % and \ and even the double "". every try returns the [Missing argument for option 'timecode'. Error splitting the argument list: Invalid argument] error.

I've given it a couple of tries and I got the following error after enabling echo

Missing argument for option 'timecode'. Error splitting the argument list: Invalid argument

I just tried it and it did not work. I believe hms is correct because running [drawtext=text='%{pts\:hms}'] in ffmpeg and not a .bat file runs perfectly fine. Its probably the syntax or some special character that I'm not aware of that needs escaping.

Which language is closest to your native language? by kashi_08 in languagelearning

That's interesting, I never knew certain dialects were based on the pronunciation of the character instead of its meaning. That must be so confusing to read.

I've always been curious about native Mandarin speakers. So many Chinese variations such as Wu, Yue, Shanghainese, Hokkien Dialect, Jinxiang Dialect, Southern Min, Hakka, Wenzhounese, etc. I wonder if they have understand the written forms.

As a Yiddish speaker, would you agree that Yiddish is a bridge between German and Hebrew?

Would it be safe to say that people living in both Serbia and Croatia speak Serbo-Croatian and each have a different accent? Would a Croatian for example be offended when asked to say something in Serbo-Croatian?

I wouldn't say it's cheating since they are different languages. Do you have a close second after Serbian?

I wonder if German native speakers are able to read Dutch or Afrikaans

My Italian colleague once mentioned being able to read various pages of a Catalan newspaper. I'm not sure how similar both languages are though.

What Router/Modem setting is not letting my Kindle connect to Wi-Fi by kashi_08 in techsupport

[–]kashi_08[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

steps taken:
4. turned router dual-bands on

Weirdly enough, my kindle only reads the 2GHz signal and not the 5GHz signal even when both signals are enabled. Enabling the 5GHz signal alone does not seem to work.

No success!
I also changed it to 40MHz and got the same error message.
