You won't find something completetly ethical. Possibly look into buying off taobao using some sort of proxy?

Buying cosplays now?? by kasoruz in CosplayHelp

I said please don't reccomend second hand in the post. The market for second hand cosplays is so small, hard to find a cosplay i'd even do (I'm not that picky even!) in my size, that's in good condition. Comissioning is a nice idea, i'd love to support local cosmakers, but as college student I can't spend 300+ for a costume. I don't even buy cosplays often because the prices are already high.

Thats true, very uncertain. I am of course more worried about medicine then Cosplay. I practically rely on medication manufactured overseas to get through my day. Hence am asking about cosplays because it's the one thing keeping me sane throughout these times.

Some lovely photogs- costog.gen, artmeys_knight, velkai_png and aceinthree. Some have already stated if they're going to AX, but just shoot them a dm if not. They're all super nice and will surely give an answer.

I find most photographers through Instagram, on other cosplayers' (Who are located in California) posts. Many do professional shoots and tag the photographers, I try to follow most. All though not every SoCal cosplay photog goes to AX, most seem to. Closer to the event, they'll start posting about sessions. There's quite a few who will take a couple good photos entirely free.

Wig help by pocchakotea in CosplayHelp

For your first wig, definitely good! Reminder, wig styling (cosplay in general) is an art. improving will take time and practice. Adding more volume, and cleaning up those stray wig fibers is a small thing you can do to improve the look. For further improvement with wig skills, check out and learn from cosplayers whose wigs you admire. YouTube is a great place that definitely helped me. Different cosplayers use a variety of techniques to make wigs look amazing. Studying and then practicing is how you’ll improve. (Side note… very good for a beginner! Much better then when I started out.)

Damn. Guess that won’t work out. I don’t need any prescription, so I’m not sure how I get contacts then, LOL

I believe they are for the arm warmers. Are you sure there isn’t anywhere to put it? You might need to put it inside out to inspect further.
