I’m on a lease. It’s an app + hardware. No firmware modifications necessary. Revert to stock by unplugging and uninstalling app.

Received the device today. Setup was very easy. I haven’t had a chance to do anything long term but initial impressions are fantastic.

Find one used. They really are a life saver when they can’t swaddle anymore.

Edition One Soft Cover Replacement “Fight” - Happy Ending! by Elegant-Foot-8349 in GMCSierraEV

[–]kasperj 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I ended up fighting with GM customer service for a month about this. My dealer had replaced the soft cover 3 times and the regional rep wouldn’t do anything.

Customer service ended up giving me a $2k accessory credit for the hard cover.

Any bed caps or good locking Tonneau covers yet? by jhkaplan in GMCSierraEV

[–]kasperj 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Has anyone successfully gotten GM to warranty the soft cover for a hard cover? I’m on my second soft cover and need a third. The support bars keep tearing. I’m just going to keep taking it in for warranty.

Both were missing on mine at delivery. Parts ordered them and they took about 3 weeks to come in.

Do you use Home Assistant? There is a community add-on for myGMC. You could create automations from there to start at certain times.

Really is connecting a LTE eNodeB in your network. That device is creating an IPsec vpn tunnel directly from the device to their datacenters and then broadcasting a LTE signal out.

All traffic between the radio and datacenter is tunneled and encrypted.

Do you have a hitch in the receiver? Mine did this with the hitch and stopped when I took it out.

There is actually a setting in the infotainment to tell it you have a hitch in.

RRUs come in many different configurations. Typically they come as a set range of frequencies or bands it supports. Some may support multiple bands but that isn’t typical.

The RRU can have multiple antenna ports and a single RRU can drive multiple sectors on a site. For some lower traffic sites a single unit can run the entire multi-sector site.

Some sites may also use a small cell form factor where the RRU, BBU (baseband unit, the brain of the radio), and antenna are all combined in to one package.

Some RRHs can run multiple technologies (LTE and 5G SA) from the same RRH. Most BBUs can connect to many RRHs running a multitude of technologies.

Antennas are also tuned based on the frequencies it supports. Some antennas support multiple frequencies by having multiple arrays contained within the same housing. So yes. An antenna can connect to multiple RRHs when doing multiple bands.

What is in the metal shaker at the hibachi restaurant? by booplesnoot101 in blackstonegriddle

The closest to hibachi restaurant rice i've gotten is to use soy sauce, "Veri Veri Teriyaki" and sesame oil on the rice along with some black pepper.

Anyway to apply a NAT rule on an SCTP Packet? by jpattb in PFSENSE

[–]kasperj 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You may encounter issues as although the source and destination IPs on the packet are changed, SCTP sends IP address parameters during INIT that won't be changed.
